Append is provided by Kraftworks LLC. ("Kraftworks," "we," "us")
By creating an account or using Append, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Append.
If you're under the age required by your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement, you may only use Append with a parent or guardian's consent.
3. The Service
Append is a personal capture and organization tool for notes, links, images, audio, video, and documents.
We may add, change, or remove features over time, including features described as part of paid plans.
4. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Notify us immediately at contact@justappend.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Your Content
You own the content you create and store in Append (notes, links, images, audio, video, files).
You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the service.
We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not sell it.
You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload (don't store content that infringes someone else's rights or violates the law).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Append to:
Store or distribute illegal content
Violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure
Use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk content via our intake channels (e.g., forwarded email)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
Append offers a free plan and paid plans (Power User, Pro User), billed monthly or annually.
Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
Price & terms: The renewal price and billing frequency are shown to you before you subscribe. If pricing changes, we'll notify you in advance of the change taking effect.
Notice: We'll send a reminder before each renewal charge, and before any free trial converts to paid.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your account settings or app store subscription management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law.
Free tier limits: Some free-tier features may become limited after an initial period, as described on our pricing page at the time.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Apple, or Google depending on your platform. We don't store your full payment card details.
8. Data Export & Deletion
You can export your content at any time from within the app.
You can delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how that affects your data retention.
9. Intellectual Property
Append's name, design, software, and branding are owned by Kraftworks LLC. and may not be copied or used without permission.
This doesn't apply to your own content, which remains yours.
10. Third-Party Services
Append may let you connect third-party accounts or services (e.g., bookmark imports, email forwarding). Your use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms.
We're not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services we integrate with.
11. Disclaimers
Append is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every use case.
We're not a substitute for backing up irreplaceable content elsewhere.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kraftworks LLC. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Append.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Termination
You may stop using Append and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll notify you of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
